v4.1 (2025-03-26)

PathcoreFlow v4.1 improves upon the histogram feature introduced in v4.0, and introduces a Properties dialog to give users insights into where their storage is being used.

New Features

File & Folder Properties

The new file and folder properties dialog shows details about a selection of items in the Repository including total size, types of files and the total number of associated share links. All of this information is accessible from the Properties context menu in the Repository.

With this, users can better understand how much storage space a given folder in their Repository is consuming, and track down share links which are no longer needed.

Improvements

Viewer Improvements

  • Histograms are now generated more quickly so they can be used shortly after upload, instead of waiting on a long-running background process
  • The name filter in the Viewer Browse Folder panel now supports wildcards (*)

Repository Improvements

  • The name filter in the Repository now supports wildcards (*)

Fixed in this Release

Security Fixes

  • The user session is now invalidated on sign out by default
  • Secure session cookies are now enabled by default

Viewer Fixes

  • Corrected a problem where small or narrow snapshots would show the wrong region when previewed or rendered
  • Fixed an issue where the "Add to View" > "Randomize" toggle in the Viewer Browse Folder context menu wasn't working
  • Fixed a bug where rotation was not remembered after refresh
    • Rotation is now unique to each user and stored in the URL hash for sharing
  • Fixed an issue where lower resolution thumbnails were unintentionally used when displaying images in the Viewer
  • Fixed an issue that greatly reduced the speed of histogram generation for SVS images

Repository Fixes

  • Corrected a problem with downloads that limited the path to 100 characters or less resulting in truncated file names
  • Repository name filter (search bar) will now clear when navigating between folders

Image Format Fixes

  • Fixed an issue which could lead to a service disruption when processing certain types of corrupt Olympus images
  • Fixed an issue which could lead to a service disruption when processing Hamamastu images containing mixed brightfield and fluorescence

Figure Maker Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that could prevent "Apply to All Slides" buttons from working when the slides were opened from the Repository
  • Fixed a bug that would cause saved figures that are downloaded/exported to render incorrectly when there are unsaved changes in the figure

Integration Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Visiopharm arrow annotations would cause the analysis result import process to fail
    • Additionally, the interface now reports an error if the mld import process fails
