v4.3.1 (2026-03-23)
This patch release of PathcoreFlow includes some performance improvements while browsing folders and searching the Repository, as well as several bug fixes.
Improvements
- Added new search conditions for Custom Fields: "is present" and "is not present". These check if a specific field has been assigned to an item, which mimics the behavior of "is empty" from versions before v4.2

Image Format Fixes
- Fixed a problem where thumbnail size enforcement could incorrectly cause certain MRXS thumbnails to appear all white
- Fixed an issue with Hamamatsu S360MD NDPI image rendering caused by incorrectly applying the S360 color profile
- Adjusted the heuristic used to identify Hamamatsu MoxiePlex images to account for format variations that caused some images to be incorrectly classified and displayed
Viewer Fixes
- Fixed a problem in the Viewer's Annotations panel that caused entries to show "Last Modified: 0 mins ago" regardless of how much time had passed since the last change
- Fixed an issue where the image settings "Apply Settings to" and "Copy Settings to" options would not be visible in a Split View configuration
Repository Fixes
- Corrected a problem where users were presented with the option to download an image, but it would not work correctly because they lacked the "Protected Information->View" permission. The user interface will no longer offer a download option in this case
- Popup dialogs for selecting a folder (e.g., Move, Copy, Search Location, etc...) now auto-load more folders instead of requiring the user to click "Load more"
- Fixed an issue where certain folder columns — such as "Name", "Type", and "Last Modified" — remained visible even after being removed in the display settings
- Fixed a bug where available tag options were not being filtered as text was being typed in the tag selector
- Also moved the "+ New Tag" option to the top of the tag selector to better work with keyboard input
- Fixed an issue where a user's list of tags could be truncated
- Fixed a problem where the search filter in the cell selection dialog was not cleared after navigating to a new folder. Previously, this could lead to the impression that there were no items in the newly selected
- Fixed an issue where the filter in the Move and Copy popup dialogs only performed exact matches
- Fixed an issue where double clicking an attachment in icon mode would result in a Page not found error
- Fixed an issue where incomplete uploads that were moved to the Trash showed two warning icons instead of one
- Fixed an issue where an empty Trash page would show a link to Team Settings for users without permission to access it
- Fixed an issue with bulk metadata import where entering a partial field name in the field selector would show all possible fields rather than only those that match
- Fixed an issue that allowed tags that only vary by case or leading/trailing whitespace to be added
- Fixed an issue where image labels would not appear in folder listings after an update due to cached image metadata
Search Fixes
- Fixed a problem where certain kinds of searches using specific locations could consume a significant amount of resources leading to erratic behavior across the system
Figure Maker Fixes
- Fixed a problem where Figures with non-ASCII characters (e.g., an em dash copied from a Word document) in their name could not be saved and redirected users to an error page
Integration Fixes
- Fixed a regression that caused slow Visiopharm overlay rendering and excessive CPU/memory consumption
- Fixed a problem with opening images in Visiopharm that resulted in a "Cannot copy" error if the previous result had a result file reference. These references, such as an APP Execution Log output variable, are now filtered out before reopening images in Visiopharm
- Fixed an issue where an overlay exported from Visiopharm which only contained labels would cause a problem rendering the image in the Viewer
