Browse Folder Panel
The Browse Folder panel displays the list of images in the same folder as the file currently on display in the Viewer. You can view the images in List view, Icon view or Compact List view. The Browse Folder panel can be accessed by clicking the   button located on the left-hand sidebar of the Viewer.
To toggle the visibility of the Browse Folder panel
- If the left sidebar is not displayed, toggle it by clicking on the Menu > button at the bottom left of the Viewer 
- Click on the - button in the left sidebar to open the Browse Folder panel 
To open the current image's folder
- If the left sidebar is not displayed, toggle it by clicking on the Menu > button at the bottom left of the Viewer 
- Hover or click on the - button in the left sidebar 
- Click on the folder name at the top of the panel 
To open the current image's folder in a new browser tab
- If the left sidebar is not displayed, toggle it by clicking on the Menu > button at the bottom left of the Viewer 
- Hover or click on the - button in the left sidebar 
- Click on the - button to the right of the folder name 
List Mode
The Browse Folder panel can list items using three formats: List, Compact List, and Icon.
To change the list mode
- If the left sidebar is not displayed, toggle it by clicking on the Menu > button at the bottom left of the Viewer 
- Hover or click on the - button in the left sidebar 
- Click on the Display Mode button at the top right of the item list. This button will appear different depending on the current display mode: List ( - ), Compact List ( - ), or Icon ( - ) 
- Click on the desired list view mode 
- (Optional) Toggle the display of image labels in the list by clicking on Show Labels 
Sort Order
The list of items in the Browse Folder panel can be sorted by any metadata field.
To change the sort order
- If the left sidebar is not displayed, toggle it by clicking on the Menu > button at the bottom left of the Viewer 
- Hover or click on the - button in the left sidebar 
- Click on the sort order dropdown menu at the top right of the list of files. It shows the currently selected field by which it is sorting (defaults to "Name") 
- (Optional) Click on the arrow immediately to the right of the field name to toggle between sorting in - ascending order or - descending order 
Name Filter
The list of items can be filtered by name for quicker browsing.
To filter the list
- Click in the search box indicated by the - icon and the text "Filter by name..." 
- Type in the filter you wish to apply to the names. Only the items matching this text will be displayed 
File Read Status
The file read status indicates if a file has been previously clicked on (i.e. viewed) by the currently logged in user. An unread status is indicated by a boldface font in the Browse Folder panel and the read status is indicated by a plain face font.
To toggle the read status
- Right-click on any entry in the Browse Folder panel to bring up the context menu 
- Click Mark as Read to enable the read status, or 
- Click Mark as Unread to clear the read status 
To toggle the read status on multiple items
- Select one or more items by holding the Ctrl key (on Windows) or Command key (on macOS) key and clicking on them 
- Click the # Selected dropdown menu which appears at the top left of the list of files 
- Click Mark as Read to enable the read status, or 
- Click Mark as Unread to clear the read status 
File Favorite Status
Any file that has been tagged as Starred by the currently logged-in user is considered a favorite. Items tagged this way are quickly and easily accessible from the Starred Items List, and are indicated by a solid star in the Browse Folder panel. See Favorite Status for more details.
To toggle the favorite status
- Click on the - button to the left of an item name in the Browse Folder panel to add the Starred tag, or 
- Click on the - button to the left of an item name in the Browse Folder panel to remove the tag 
To toggle the favorite status on multiple items
- Select one or more items by holding the Ctrl key (on Windows) or Command key (on macOS) key and clicking on them 
- Click the # Selected dropdown menu which appears at the top left of the list of files 
- Click Favorite to add the Starred tag, or 
- Click Unfavorite to remove the tag
