Anonymization

Anonymization can be applied to the access of individual users, groups of users, and to Share Links. Once enabled, this feature dynamically redacts information from the view of the affected users and prevents other forms of access (e.g. via API and data export or download).

Anonymization applied to slide labels and user defined custom fields marked as having PHI (protected health information). Anonymized access also prevents users from downloading images, as PHI may be embedded in the file.

The administrators control the permissions associated with users, including the ability to view and access protected information.

By default, Student users have anonymized access while Educators have access to protected information.
