Our browser-based applications are supported on any device that has a supported browser and a stable internet connection. For desktop computers and laptops, we recommend at least 8 GB of RAM.

We support recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge on desktop and mobile platforms.

Our desktop applications are currently supported on any PC with the following minimum specifications:

  • Windows 10 or newer
  • 64-bit Intel or AMD processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 512 MB of free disk space
  • 1024x768 minimum screen resolution

Being a web-based application, a modern Web-browser is the only requirement. We aim to support up-to-date versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge on desktop and mobile platforms.

What are the recommended network speeds for end users?PathcoreFlowPathcoreScholar

5-10 Mbps is usually sufficient for brightfield images and 15-25 Mbps for multiplex immunofluorescence images. However, a low latency network provides better experience in general than higher download speeds. For this reason, you may have a better experience on wired office/home networks rather than public wifi spots like airports, hotels and conference centers.

There are no limits on the number of users. Pathcore is routinely used with 100 or more concurrent users in educational settings.

Pathcore offers both a Pathcore managed solution which is cloud based, and a self-hosted option for customers who would like to manage their own deployments.
